We’re getting a steady stream of new objects in. Back when DesktopX was first made, we included a bunch of cool objects made by Paul Boyer. That was 10 years ago. So for DesktopX 4 we really want to revisit this with what can be done using today’s technology.
Stay tuned.
Now that sounds like a plan.
Very nice!
ZubaZ waits for teh VHS vs. betamax wars to restart.
Can you pm me or point me to the forum posts for your ideas I.R. Brainiac? Curious.
Awesome!!!
Cool!!!!!!!!
Leo....check yer PM!!!
Really cool!
Oh, a dream comes true. Paul is doing animated Icons for DX again.
Not much I want to 'give' away...one of the simpler ones would have been a spinning black hole capable of destroying desktop icons(but sending them back thru a white hole.
All the others are much more difficult.
oh...ok.
Beta was a superior format....with inferior marketing....
suggestions for new ones?
Video 8 was even better again. Though mostly used for video cameras, I had a Video 8 player/recorder that recorded TV programmes with much better quality than VHS or Betamax. I bought it mostly for editing my cam tapes, but it came in very handy for when a show we wanted to see was on and we happened to be out... just set the timer.
On another note: it's nice to see DX is getting some TLC/attention.
Now that's some good news!
Yeah...there's been nothing decent out for DX for some time now.
Teasers, promises... Nothing happens. A classic.
You have noted this thread is from January ?
I think the post is about intent and content. "Can't hurry love..." - The Supremes.
Looking forward to it!

Um, it was at the top of the page when I got here... naturally I assumed it was a recent thread.
I mean, who checks the date of threads at the top of the page??
