I don't see how it would be piracy
your words...
Or better yet, i'll just pirate a copy seeing as I've already paid for it.
not purchase.
I've had it working maybe once or twice, but as soon as it decides it needs an update, or for whatever other reason, it just goes ahead and uninstalls, then I have to go through this crap again.
That's waht a pirated version will do when you try to update it.
Just to clear that up for the thickies who believe comparing me to their impatent son is going to help resolve an issue
Never said or expected it to clear up anything, it was just a comparison. But while we're on it, his whining doesn't make the updates go any faster or smoother. And I recall a few times that WOW went down. And then it was back up. If he suggested 'pirating' a version, he wouldn't have a PC to play it on at all. But he wouldn't make that suggestion. He's mature and knows how wrong it would be.
Look House, I'm not here to argue with you about your son's maturity in relation to WOW updates. I'm not addicted to Sins, I just want to play it with a friend. I'm not going to lose my cool the second it stops working, that would be silly. I would not be here had I not exhausted EVERY other option I can think of.
For your information, however, I do not currently have a pirated version of the game... Its just that I dont have ANY version of the game. If torrenting one from a shady means and using my serial # (WHICH I PAID FOR!! <-- EMPHASIS ON THIS UNLESS YOU HAVENT NOTICED IT YET !) would work, then it seems like a better option then waiting until the folks at Impulse decided to do some work. Pesonally, when I purchase a game, I would prefer to have my ability to play it not in the hands of some underpaid fellow in India, but instead in my own hands. So yes, your son's whining doesnt speed up the cold hard logic behind a download, no, but my bitching will hopefully modivate the buggers whom I've thrown my money at to allow me to use the product I bought. Savvy ?
