I would give you karma, but Skyrim is the best RPG I've ever played, although I wouldnt suggest it if you arent a fan of the Elder Scrolls series, because it follows the well-known recipe from Bethesda Softworks, so if you hate the previous games, you will hate this one too.

Btw, PC > Consoles, so you wouldnt need an Xbox

I would give you karma, but you better be prepared, because just like Oblivion, Skyrim's world is huge, and quests are endless, meaning that you always have something to do, and a place to go

One more thing though: Make sure your PC can handle the game, because Skyrim requires a decent graphics card, coupled with a good CPU - Yes, the CPU makes a big difference in this game, which is weird, considering the game is optimized for only 2 cores/threads. Oh well, I wouldnt recommend anything below a Sandy Bridge Core i3 for Intel, or anything below a Phenom II x 4 for AMD, but thats just me
