Phase stabilizers are not working right.

Phase stabilizers IMO are broken and are not working right!

I can put up with the fact that you nerfed RA to the point were I don't even research it no more and never use it and never will in its current state. (thanks whiners)

I can put up with the fact that you coddeled all the multi player cry babies and nerfed the carrier speed because they were to stupid to counter them.

I can put up with the fact that you made flak frigates god.

I can put up with the fact that you made advent carriers to the point were it takes half an upgraded fleet 2 min to defeat it.

I can put up with the fact that you have an Advent race to begin with at all. ( the other poster was right they are for fags!)

I can go on and on but you get the drift..........

But I can't put up with the fact that you lazy programmers can't take the proper time even when you nerf stuff tp properly do it .....Do me a ....favor step in front of a 10 wheeler........ loaded with gravel please........ doing 60 mph.

Many times my fleets have jumped to wrong locations even when the planet says it has a "Phase stabilizer node" and screwed me over......ow and I know what it is and I'm not even programmer. When they nerfed the crap out of vasari and rewrote the code for the phase stabilizers they were either A.) To stupid to do the job B.) To lazy to do the job C.) Or both A and B.

You mean to tell me you can take out the anti-matter graphic ( you know the blue bar ) bar in the phase stabilizer,but not the anti-matter regen restore rate which seems IMO to be the problem. And the reason why I know this is because the phase stabilizers will work , like 20 minutes later AFTER being built and by then I don't need them.

So keep listening to all your core pussy advent players who couldn't fight their way out of a wet paper bag and you just keep nerfing the crap vasari ok ,,,,cause thats about all I have seen in the changes, the only actually good thing you did was give us a phase stabilizer node after a kosture cannon shot ( which works great ).

So fix the other ones please and no more listening to the crying whinning avent players for nerfs please.

And IMO just friggin fix the Phase S please. Take out the hidden timer that you were to lazy to code out , it should be online as soon as its made, waiting 20 mins for it to work is a tactical disaster for me not a advantage.

Thats beacause asshole before you broke your fingers trying to type as fast as you can to flame me, you forgot in the ORIGINAL SINS (there I cap locked it for your dumbarse so you know the differece) , there was an anti-matter cost for phase stabilizers and a anti-matter regen rate along with it,,,,,, well like I said in my earlier post they left the timer in , I could GIVE 2 SHIITS about what you read in the game file jerk off. That tells me nothing and is also incorrect kinda like your DNA , kinda incorrect.

nope... i think Kitkun pretty much nailed it...

i mean... idn, i dont play Vasari that much... i do remember there being an issue with it a while ago, and i did think it was the AM regen screwing it up, but now that ive seen the code i dont know what is wrong...

on a seperate note, ive seen fleets split up en route to a destination, half going via friendly territory, and half flrying throguh a fortified enemy asteroid... just for shits and giggles... and THAT pisses me off no end....

but yeah... dude... there is NO reason to start swearing and insulting people like that... im all for going off your nut when something truly is FUBAR'd, but if you are going to do that, you need to know, without a doubt, that you are correct in what your are upset about... the fact that someone has posted the actual game code specifically showing your assumption/explanation etc to be wrong, means your complaint loses value as people just think you are a troll...

the better thing would have been to just be pissed off with the issue itself and not take the responsibility to explain why. Get angry about how PS's dont work, not why they dont work. let the devs explain themselves. Okay, so it was stupid for PS's to have AM and a really slow AM recharge rate, it made PS's useless for 5 mins after construction. everybody knew it was an issue, so the devs changed it. the fact that its STILL broken IS a problem, it means the devs fucked up somewhere. let them explain why they did, dont make it your responsibility, therefore making yourself vulnerable to being proven wrong (as, to be honest, Kitkun has done).

Anyway, enough patronising. Long story short:

1) Yeah, if its still broken, the Devs need to fix it, and just like the people complaining about balance problems, the Devs need to justify themselves for the continuing errors.

2) If there is a porblem, dont take it upon yourself to bring evidence. if it IS broken, and we have proof, let them explain WHY and why we should forgive them. That way, you arent percieved as a troll, and you get what you want while getting your rant on.

but yeah, its not the community's fault that PS's are broken, so there is no need to yell at us... just not cricket mate.

Dude, calm down. Your point about the PS not working right is taken. Frustration is understandible, but people (especially Stardock and IC) are much more responsive to constructive criticism. The most you're likely to get from your approach is banned from making further posts which won't help your goal of getting the issue resolved. Take a deep breath. Calm down and approach this with a cool and level head. A thoughtful discussion of the problem and what you believe is the cause vs. what others think would help to diagnose the issue and is more likely to lead to a solution.

Look at the history of my posts I don't gripe much, but after taking off 2 months from playing Sins and DLing all these patches and playing again I couldn't believe the crap they did to this game. They like killed the vasari race from the original sins.

And I have all those whinning Advent players to thank for that.

I replied in kind to your original post. I too am tired of people who do not post anything constructive.

You came in flaming the devs and claimed you knew the solution when you did not do any research on it at all. Antimatter was never related to the Phase Stabilizer function. Instead, it was used for Returning Armada pre-1.1. Neither of us can prove anything regarding a hidden timer, although I'd consider it highly unlikely they'd add one for no reason at all. Even more so as adding a non-hidden timer is quite possible and likely a whole lot easier.

That's why I got pissed off at your post.

Erictred1, the actual CODE dictates how the game WORKS. People who give examples from it aren't trying to make themselves better or be know-it-alls.

The fact is, most of the people (like Kitkun, Deciever_0, Raging Amish, Annatar11, N3rull) really know what their talking about. Insulting them isn't particularly polite, and probably will not bring them over to your side.

I personally don't care for the Advent all that much. They have some cool units and some of their ships look awesome, but overall I tend to lean towards the TEC or, more so as of late, the Vasari.

The fact remains however, that Kitkun IS right about how the PSs work. The Phase Stabilizer ability is a PASSIVE (i.e. doesn't use AM) ability. Your flaming the game devs is also likely to get you banned from this site IMO, as if it were not for them, then OMFG there would NEVER HAVE BEEN A SINS OF A SOLAR EMPIRE GAME. PERIOD.

So, please do not flame the devs, or members of the community. It just doesn't get anywhere with anyone. As for your OP, I find it to be a fine example of flaming, abusive language, and general un-niceness.

If you've got a complaint, state it civilly. Insulting the devs and tossing racist and homophobic slurs about at anyone who differs with you will only buy you a quick ticket out of here. Given the behavior on show here, don't expect a warning the next time.
