Pas I wasn't berating Jafo. Just saying he could have near the same experience with a AMD Phenom 2 setup. And he could have saved money.

Jafo - I am happy that you are pleased with your new setup. I apoligize for my statements.

Sooner or later I will upgrade as well.

Overclock the i7 and that PSU will be toast....

I have an I7 920 with a GTX285 powered by a 850W psu. I don't have a need to overclock (besides overclocking puts additional strain on the components) and realize that I have more power than I need at the moment. it's nice to know I have sufficient power to add on when I need to.

Well, we'll see... Last one was dimensionned the same way and still runs perfectly 5 year after. So far, so good. By the way, my current 500W wasn't especially on the cheap range. Wanna bet ?

I actually have that case with bigger fans, it's not as impressive as my CM cases. I don't think ill ever buy another brand at this point CM has impressed me so much.

on cases the only case I EVER want now is a server one I saw. Each Side was a Massive fan (easily 12" radius) I have a pic somewhere of five of these cases stuck together and it looked so darn cool (the rest of the case was black metal/plastic with blue LED's, it was a gaming server case )

and those PSU's 1000W !!! WHAT?! Well I suppose its your choice, personally I got one of the antec 650W PSU's. They are reliable and rated at continuous, not peak power (so i guess it's maybe overkill - but better safe than sorry).

I like how on the first page there were two guys who posted that they would go Nvidia with absolutely no backup whatsoever.

I finally got a new PC as well. I'll keep what I got to myself.

Was that the Eee PC I saw being delivered the other day? What did it say on the side, 'size isn't everything'?
