Minidump crash with copy of existing ability (entrenchment1.02)

Hello,

I use the entrenchment 1.02 reference files. I copied the ability "deployCombatPlatform" from the TEC Carrier under a different name. For now I did not change anything in the content of the file.

When I give theis ability to the TEC siege frigate I got a minidump. If I give the siege frigate the original deployCombatPlatform it works (I also added antimater and regeneration)

As far as I can see the deployCombatPlatform ability doesn't refer to any buff file... so I wonder what I do wrong.

Could someone help me ?

did you add the new abilty name to the mods entity.manifest?

I had done s similar sequence to test what was happening, and got a dump before I added the new ability name to the entity.manifest and did not get a dump after updating the entity.manifest

Ohoh... thanks harpo99999. That's what I missed.

I'm at work now and don't have my sins files with me. Where's located that entity.manifest file ?

it is in the base folder of the mod. I will be releaseing a small utility to make manifests for mods within the next 8 hours. the release plans include supplying the program to ironclad games and posting on my 3 files spaces. the manifests work with very little effort and time, ie less than 20 seconds to create a FULL set of manifests for any mod, and also will support manifests in sins if/when ironclad do decide to add manifests to sins, and also later expansions
