I am quite new to all of this, and I'm having an issue. I was wondering if anyone could help?
I recently purchased Object Desktop Ultimate but I cannot download/retrieve it. (I already have Impulse installed and have downloaded, and run, other programs with no problem.) However, I did not purchase ODU using the Impulse browser; I happened to be navigating Stardock online through IE. After the purchase, it told me to download/install Impulse in order to get ODU but I canceled that option because I already have Impulse (as I said), and I figured (erroneously) that I would be able to retrieve my purchase through Impulse later. (I guess I thought that Impulse would have a sort of queue for software that you purchased and was waiting to download, etc....Ooops!)
Anyway, now I can find absolutely no proof anywhere that I ever purchased ODU---not in my account info at Stardock, or within Impulse, (or anywhere else for that matter---except of course, my Paypal account, which is down $69.99.) I tried getting updated registration info emailed to me but it only has information for the other programs I use. No mention of Object Desktop.
So...two questions...
1) short of having Paypal to cancel/reverse the payment and reordering ODU again through the Impulse browser...what can I do?
and,
2) If you happen purchase software through another browser, do you have to reinstall Impulse every single time in order to download it?
