Random Wallpaper Change doesn't work (WB 6.3 on Vista)

Hi,

 

for any reason the random wallpaper change doesn't work. The wallpapers in the tab "random wallpers settings" are listed and checked correctly but whatever I select (change on logon, change each hour, ...) the wallpaper remains the same.

I can select the wallpaper manually in the "change my wallpaper" tab and this is the wallpaper I' ll see after restart, logon or whenever the change trigger should take effect.

The checkbox "apply the wallpaper included with a skin" under settings is not ticked.

Any ideas?

do you have desktop icons hidden?

using iconX?

cleared all web items?

 

not sure about vista, but on xp it won't change if the icons are hidden, using iconx basically 'hides' the icons and overlays iconx's
