2v2 is the only mode in Demigod that isn't a clusterfuck (3v3+) or painfully slow (1v1).

Ok guys if you wanna sign up please post in the link I provided...
Its a lot easier if everyone registers in one thread :)

And reasons for 2v2 are:

Less issues with connections - last 3v3 tourny couldnt been finished due to connection issues...only 5 players could get into my last game.

We just had a 3v3 and we've seen the imba's with that. Lets try 2v2's

2v2 = Smaller teams = More teams = More matches

Kestrel you can enter as free agent OR organised teams. People without teams can get randomly teamed up with other people without teams, or just ask around at the event. Just as long as I know before the match, its fine :)

And registering at the link asap would be great so we know what the turn out will be like. So far we only officially have like...6 players. Want to make bracket.

Just a reminder, the tourny is tomorrow - and Totem of War is now not banned due t bug being fixed in beta 3B. So far we have 6 teams, more are welcome, and there are now no banned "things". Remember it starts at 5:30 GMT and sign ups close at 5: 20. Enjoy :)

GG everyone whom we played.  How did it end up?

Connection issues are still massive when you want to play someone in particular, rather than anyone at all.  Also I saw my first desync in a while and the client crashed midgame 3 or 4 times?  Not to mention that my partner would have random and unintentional DCs in every game we played at some point ^^  We spent 4.5 hours on this thing before getting eliminated, and I would say 3 of those hours were connection related and total gametime was an hour. 

And that was just my experience, every time I checked IRC some poor guy was throwing Dlazk another connection curveball that screwed with his pretty brackets...

Thanks for staying calm and keeping it moving, Dalzk - hopefully next time we get something like this going it's a smoother process.
