Hi,
I'm having a problem with my group menu items images. I put a border around the menu thinking I could border the menu item images (selected, pressed etc)
in the pic below you can see that the selected item renders the border on the left side but not on the right side.
I either need to find a fix to get the right border to render or remove the border from the menu background as it looks funny to have the border on the background and then remove it on one item line when selecting an item. all menu item options (selected, pressed and flashing) render the same way.
I have tried eveything I can think of. All combination of stretch, tile, center and paint with margins options in the painting margins tab including dozens of paint margins combinations increase the margin by 1px at a time. The confusing part is that if I use Stretch middle section and paint margins but do not specify any margins, it will render the whole image including the the right border but both left and right borders are stretched out and pixelated also not rendering the green to full width. as soon as I apply margins to get the green to full width I get the problem in the pic.
I have tried leaving a 1px space between each image on the background layer allowing one px of magic pink to come through and paint margin it out. I tried a .bmp file and importing separate png files. With either file type when looking at the frame builder it appeared as though it was cutting off the right side boarder (even though they were of the same size as windows default images 30x23) so I tried narrowing my width 1px at a time until I could see the entire image in the frame builder.
I have even tried making a full size .bmp and use center true. This renders both borders correctly but comes up short of the left side leaving the left border a few pixels short of full width thus showing menu background. increaseing the image size a few px does not solve this, before I can get the image to full width it again removes the right border.
I'm lost as to how to get the right border to render.
anybody got any ideas??? at this point I'm willing to try anything.
