Game Runing VERY fast

My friend and I were playing a game - everything going fine ( as it has been since release ), but i broke our game plan (we we were playing together against the AI :p ) , so we decided to start the game again.

 

Unfortunately everything started running VERY FAST in our new game, even with the settings at normal.  So we tried again, with settings at SLOW - Still very fast.

Income coming at us pewpewpew style, animations playing faster, ships moving faster - and this is happening even after we totally restarted Sins :S

 

Edit- Were also experiencing a strange issue with the game loading almost INSTANTLY, when it normally takes a few seconds, maybe sometimes even a minute to load :S

 

Any ideas?

game loads fast the 2nd time after loading a map. well my PC loads it up fast anytime anyway. not more than 4 seconds or so. instant after the first time. but the game animation running fast u say. does the "=" key works on Multiplayer? hmm i wish it does. i guess not.  check the mods ur using. maybe ur using a mod to speed up the game. if so. give me!

Nope, no mods installed.

i'd ask if time compression is on but if its a lan game its mostlikely disabled. check time compression anyway and if its not that i dont know what to say

Hi everyone

Installed the Entrenchement beta and is running the lastest version (1.1).

Me and a friend is experiencing the same "speed" problem. The game seem to be stuck in fast mode for some reason.

Weve tried to adjust the game speed in "game options" before starting, regardless of setting (fast, normal or slow) the game seems stuck at fast speed.

Any ideas?

Have you tried pressing the '+' and '-' buttons on the keyboard and seeing if anything changes?

 

that is a pretty strange occurance.
