Icons look like s*** ???

I use Vista(32-bit). Whenever I throw a shortcut(icon) in a dock it looks like 8x8 px magnified about 5 times (crap), however Windows icons (like Computer, Control Panel, Recycle bin, folders, etc.) look perfect. How could this be? Earlier versions also had this but not at such degree.

Because the windows icons are 256x256 not 8x8, 8x8 is even smaller than the system tray icons.

What happens whn you right-click on th icon, choose "Dock Entry Properties, and then choose reset image?

I'm using both Vista and non-Vista icons(some IP,some individual, some windows), w/32 bit Vista,OD free version. My icons look clear and focused from 16 all the way up to 80 pixels, then I run out of room.(damn 17" monitor)They actually look better, the bigger they are.
Do you have some other icon changing program that may be conflicting?

Ok whatever. Forget. I found out that Utorrent.exe doesn't even contain icons. LOL.
