Explorer crashes with IP 4.0.165

I got a wierd problem here with Iconpackager 4.0.165 - only one I can get with sdc 1. I get the activate window nearly all the time -I did a refresh of xml file - that seemed to have helped 2. After applying an iconpackage -I get asked about 2 things a) different drive setting is on, wanna keep that -yes b) explorer handles every window seperatly, wann keep that - yes After applying the iconpackage I get a lot of explorer.exe errors, one time it started and stopped started and stopped continously. Whats going on here? I am on xpsp3 home german I did another attempt - returned to older image system - no IP activated Repeated step 1 Repeated setp 2 - but this time - no Iconpackage worked perfect, but After using it for a while and changing some icons 1. Some other icons got changed together with the ones y chose by themselves 2. After several apply changes I get the same problem as before - machine hangs, explorer starts and shuts itself down Only answer from support so far - install impulse. Any other suggestion, cause impulse messed up my system bad last time I tried -ended up having 2 versions ob wb 6 and two versions of OD+ on my system, cause installer didn't respect destinated folders for each programm, updates got installed in sperate folders. really frustrating, I get no answer, than some support guy tells me Ip doesn't touch explorer, knowing all to well that it does, and I get the typical support answer - must be a problem on your system and with your file.

I know stardock can do better, so I am waiting

Ruben what is your ticket number for this support issue?

Also Icon Packager should not interfere with IE. We will explore this further once I can get a look at your current troubles. Sorry for the delay.

Judging by your posts, your system being the problem isn't a real leap...

I don't have it installed, so I'm guessing it's still there. Do a search for iprepair. Un-hide extensions. Rename every one that you find .old. Re-boot

should not interfere with IE

explorer.exe errors
