Does DS2 ever automatically pause???

Hi ALL!

I just installed the free version of DS2 on my Vista Home Premium. Everything works as supposed (I think), but I observed the played Dream never pauses by itself. I mean, MS's DreamScenes is cleverly designed to automatically pause when any window is maximized (smart choice, the desktop is no longer visible and it's highly presumable the PC user is really working, not... Dreaming). As far as I've seen until now, this principle does not apply to DS2, at least in what concerns the free version. I checked the mentioned behaviour by opening Task Manager while another window was maximized and a Dream was left playing in the background (invisible to me under the circumstances). CPU workload kept on varying between 20 and 35%. Doing the same with the Dream manually paused showed almost no CPU load. Is this behaviour of DS2 a bug or... errr... a feature?

Thanks in advance!

Thanks for your input!

I understand there's nothing wrong with my installation of DS2, this is the way it's supposed to work... Too bad, I was ready to buy this proggie (it's very cheap and quite spectacular), but I can't afford wasting up to one third of my CPU power for running a movie while it's in fact invisible.

In addition, I confirm the Dream with the water effect doesn't remember a custom background picture (it returns to the "Sand" one) over reboot of the PC. I'm really disappointed, as I had the credit card ready for purchase. I think I need to wait a little more...

Thanks again!
