if your using windows xp, then the best thing to do is use XP's inbuilt unzip function.
also, winzip trial never expires as far as i know, it just gives you a longer and longer nag screen. so you should still be able to use it. also another program to try is the completely free 7zip. that will unzip just about every zipped format. good luck
