Sort of a poll? Age of users and skinners. Is there a skinner out there younger than I am(21)

Who is the youngest skinner and who is the youngest user

from WinCustomize Forums

     I just though it would be cool to find out who on here is younger than me. I have found that every single person that skins is older than me. Even screen shot people? I also wanted to know about non skinners. Users that just download others work. I know I can look on peeps sites but it would take a long long time!

 

So If you would like to participate....If you are under 30 years of age state your age and if you skin or just download?

No lieing about your age if you dont want to share your age then just ignore me. I am doing this to see what the range in age for wincustomize users. I think in a way it would help me in my future skinning

55 in 13 days but I still got all the sass of a teenager, hehe. Just wish I still felt physically like one... old bones and arthritis don't allow for those teenage shenanigans I used to get up to....

Spent many a weekend on horse riding camps with friends... but these days I'd have to be lowered onto the (poor suffering) horse by crane, hehe. ;p

34 (for a few months more anyway)... I started 'skinning' a few years back, I started doing freelance artwork long before that (before I was ever out of high school). I know there are quite a few of the 'older' folks who started before they were 21 but might be older then that now.

Not a bad approach if you looking to just skin for one segment of the community.

You can go through a lot of posts in the forums and see the same advice always given. Do skins for yourself, and upload them when you think you have done a good job. Remember we are always our own worst critics.

If you like what you have done, I bet most people that view it will also. No, I'm not a skinner, just a person that can appreciate the hard work that you folks do.  :CONGRAT:

My guess is the youth market uses laptops more than PC's, something to consider as well.Resolution/ screen size,battery life, HDD space,etc. come into play.Can't argue with youthful enthusiasm. Good Luck to all of you. :CONGRAT:

32 / semi-skinner here.

I was kind of surprised at the number of "older" people involved in skinning when I first came here. But it does help to make it a nicer community. ;)

Stopped celebrating when I was 16 so I often forget all about it until someone reminds me.
