Multiplicity lag or freeze

I downloaded the demo to try it because its exactly what I was looking for. it has run great for me. but in the last few days of the demo it has been failing.

what happens is when I move the mouse over to the secondary screen it lags behind and sometimes freezes my mouse where I can not move it on either screen or use the keyboard. I end up having to restart one of the computers to unlock the mouse.

I was going to buy it but if this is what I have to look forward to I will just stick with 2 keyboards and mice.

Thanks

How are you connected?  Direct?  Wireless router?  Wired router?
Most disconnects I've seen were due to traffic across the network (and mismatched versions on the PCs)

connected through a router with no network traffic both copies were of the same download. as I said it worked fine... it was down to 2 days left of trial before problems started. and nothing had changed on either computer....

So even if we could give you support you couldn't test it due to the trial being over?

Well that's is bad news but the good news is there has been an update to thepro version of late and it is working well. The whole of the company uses this software so I can highly recomend that it is worth the buy. If you uninstall the trial and install the pro version to get the same issue (unlikely but possible) just let us know at support@stardock.com. I'm sure we can hunt down what it is you are having trouble with.

Been running it on two XP's for some time now. No problem's at all. I have used it with both wired and wireless networked. The only problem I have had is that recently I bought a computer with Vista. Sometimes (about once a week)When I reboot the XP will loose contact with the vista. It's an easy fix though, I just re add the vista.
I think it was well worth the money. Would find it hard to live without now. ;)

Sleepy try setting the "look up IP address each time" to on. That might clear the vista issue for you.
