Help with Activation Please

I just installed YAY!!! lol WB5....I'm not getting the prompt to activate that tech support said I would get after restarting...?????

I've registered it....and reregistered my Wincustomize subscription through Stardock Central...but as I understand, Activation is mandatory....yet other than the prompt that isn't showing up....I don't know how else to go about making sure I comply with the requirement

eeek! lol

Another question....I can only get dialup out here in the boonies and they have several servers that I connect to when I go online, so my 'address' is probably not going to be the same everytime I get online.....even though I only have a desktop running Windows XP SP2

When I finally am able to activate.....with your help lol.....am I going to have problems because of the dialup?

I'm just making an educated guess (well, kind of educated) that as long as you have put your registration info into SDC and cross-referenced it here at WC, you are done.
As far as the dial-up, there should be no problems at all with different servers. Just have fun and enjoy!

Is this the trial version?
If the full, did you have the trial? Did you uninstall?
Can you uninstall and reinstall with antivirus off?

And lastly, but maybe most importantly, can you open the wb config and click on teh system info button? Please post it here if you can.

If you can't go to the directory that has WB in it via the command prompt (Start | Runn . ..| CMD [enter].
Type "dir > info.txt" without the quotes and hit the [Enter] key.
Open that file and post the contents here.

oooooooooooo I didn't think to try cross referencing it.......i forgot about that part......I kinda done did thunk since I went thru stardock central that it was done for me lol!!!

geewhizamagolly Zubak.....yep it recognizes my 'system' when I go to display and Windowblinds.....everything seems ta be woikin good......cept for the activation part.....

and as I said before........I actually DID read the article that says activation is required starting in 2005........and since I've been a loyal sucker upper of all the beautiful work here since 2002.....YES PAID NOT TRIAL......fer years n years now.....

just cain't seem ta get the hang of all that fancy doodle software graphics stuff so I'd better leave it up to the pros here......

When Reinstalling my Windowblinds, I dont enter any serial keys. I just install it from Stardock Central and it takes care of the rest for me.
