Apparently the brain doesn't catch the F in 'OF'

Supposedly women do a better job of it in general than men, but you wouldn't know it by my score...

depends on how you search for the 'F'

if you search visually one letter at a time you will see them
most people will read and sound out 'searching' for the 'eff' sound, thus skipping the 'f' in of due to the 'v' sound.
