Hello,
I have a similar situation as explained by zeflash in an earlier message. My portable and desktop computers feature different keyboard layouts. While my notebook has a standard US keyboard layout, the desktop PC works with a brazilian Portuguese (ABNT2) keyboard. Most of the notebooks sold in our country use the US keyboard layout, because most of them are imported and just a few models are actually made here (and are way more expensive). If I use the keyboard on the desktop to enter text on the portable computer, letters are exchanged, and dead-keys for mounting accents don't work correctly.
It would be nice if there could be an optional keyboard (re)mapping function in Multiplicity, that would actually allow us to enter the text as typed on the master computer's keyboard, and not simply reroute the scancode of the key which was pressed to the remote computer. Can we expect a feature like this in a future version?
I sent this questions 10 days ago to support, but beside the confirmation mail I got no response...
Thanks,
Ulrich
