Start 11 v2.51 black screen problem with Netflix and Nvidia 5090

Hi everyone,

I'm having an issue with Windows 11 Start 11 (version 2.51) causing a black screen when opening and closing the Start menu. This happens especially when I have Netflix open in the browser, which can be playing or paused and still showing.

My system specs:

Windows 11 Pro, version 21H2 (build 26100)
CPU: 9800X3D
Mainboard: X870E Nova, BIOS v3.20
RAM: 64GB DDR5 6000MHz, CL30 (supports EXPO)
Graphics card: RTX 5090, driver hotfix 576.26

I suspect this is not caused by Start 11, as I've never encountered this before. I'm also not sure if the latest Nvidia driver is related, as the current driver has many issues.

I would like to ask if anyone has encountered the same phenomenon? Is there any way to fix it or any possible solution?

Sorry to hear you are having issues. I don't have Nvidia card to verify this. Would like to suggest to try these steps. Uninstall Start11, reboot immediately (important), download latest version (v2.56 beta) available in your account product download page: https://store.stardock.com/myaccount/products. Install it, reboot immediately again. Retest it and report back.
