I’ve encountered a reproducible issue with Start11 v2 when Punto Switcher is running.
The Start menu temporarily freezes whenever I use Punto Switcher to change the keyboard layout of an already typed word inside the Start menu’s search field.
Steps to reproduce:

Open the Start menu.

Type a word in the search field.

Use Punto Switcher to change the keyboard layout of that already typed word (for example, from Russian to English).

Immediately after that, the Start menu freezes and stops responding to input.

After about 5–10 seconds, it unfreezes by itself without restarting Start11 or the system.
Environment:

Start11 version: 2.x
-
Windows version: spotted on Windows 8, still exists on Win11 25H2
-
Punto Switcher version: all versions
-
Hardware: AMD Ryzen 5 5600, 32 GB RAM, NVIDIA GTX 1070 (persists on any other hadware)
When Punto Switcher is disabled, the issue does not occur.
It seems to be a compatibility problem between Start11 and Punto Switcher’s layout correction function when editing text in the Start menu search field.
Could you please check if this issue is known or if there’s any workaround or planned fix?
I can provide a short screen recording, DxDiag, and Event Viewer logs if needed.
