Yes it does on the Start11 menu:

Hi Basj, I did exactly as you instructed.  No change in behavior.  

I have noticed that when Spotify is not running, and i have it pinned to the Start11 Taskbar, the icon is the normal green.  Here is an example:

But then when i start Spotify it goes to the blue icon again.  Somehow it has the wrong icon, is there a way to reset that somehow?

The issue goes away if you disable Start11 Enhance taskbar, yes? If so, yes, I can reproduce this issue on my Windows 11 system. I have forwarded your problem/question to Stardock Support Team for their assistance. We have reproduced the issue and should have a fix in the next update.

I suspect the spotify app updated and changed how it exposed its icon, resulting in the default chromium icon to show rather than a custom one.

I too, noticed the same issue. And I just noticed it clearly this morning. With that issue also, it is difficult to find your opened up Spotify app on the taskbar. until you realize that it morphed into a blue Chrome icon.  Glad it has been reproduced, as when opened up, it displays a blue chrome icon, but when closed, it reverts back to the original green icon, as it should.  Before I looked this up, I told myself, no way, not acceptable.  It is like telling us to eat blue chicken, lol.  T'aint 'appening.  Looking forward to this fix.
