Where can I set the hover time over taskbar until thumbnail is shown

Can I set the taskbar hover time? With hover time I mean the time between placing the cursor over a taskbar entry and popping up the thumbnail for this application (or a stack of sessions of the same application).

I looked into all configuration sections of Start11 (version 2.51), but have either overseen io, or it's missing (or well hidden). Can someone help me?

I want to increase the time. Since the taskbar is at the bottom, I hover over it uninteniously quite often, bringing the thumbnail popup as "visual noise", quite annoying.

The hover time can be set in the Registry, see this manual: Change Hover Time to Show Taskbar Thumbnail Previews in Windows 11, so it should be settable also in Start 11.

Can you please take this feature request to the development team?

You should just be able to use that setting.

Changing the timeout is a very niche requirement so adding UI for it isn't something that's really needed.

Start 11 offers many settings at one place that otherwise a user has to find by Google. Registry hacking is not every user's preferred way to customize Windows 11.

Therefore I am surprised by your comment ("very niche requirement").
