Start11. Start menu at Top & Hidden

As the titel says, according to Stardock, that is not possible since a couple of W11 versions back, that fact is not true. I am using the software Explorer Patcher which can accomplish that, so could you guys fix so even Start11 can do that so i can get some use for my license. He, EP, is 1 guy, you are several, so it should not be that difficult for you to manage that.

Explorer patcher is an app which relies on leftover functionality in Windows 11 from 10 by patching specific memory addresses typically to alter behaviour.

Not only is this code highly likely to be changed or removed in updates, the methods it uses are not supportable if you are a commercial company.  It will break repeatedly and I believe in February caused some significant issues for its users once Microsoft released the Moment 2 update.

I have nothing against explorer patcher and it serves a need as long as you are aware of the tradeoffs, but we have to be able to support our software so this isn't a path we can go down.

But the info in Start 11 says that it is not possible, which is not true, you even admit that in your post. Why not inform users about eventual issues and let them use it at own risk, as with Betas.  I have used EP for a long time now without any problems except that i sometimes have to reinstall it after a W.update. My license for Start11, i have no use for. Besides EP, at least 1 other program can do it without problem.

It is not possible using Start11.  This is a true statement.  It is also very poor if it breaks regularly.  We have to consider the reputation of the software and things being broken regularly is not a good look.  In February the apps doing that method got broken and caused OS crashes with a Microsoft update.

Unfortunately experience has shown users will demand support regardless of if we say no support.  We get support requests from people using insider builds of Windows despite knowing they are unsupported.
