Evidently, this has been an issue for over a decade with ESET. From what I understand, there is nothing Stardock can do to remedy this issue.
I haven't seen any other AV issues reported other than ESET. I personally run Trend Micro and have never seen an issue with any of Stardock's installers.
I understand your frustration, but I would recommend contacting ESET's support and see if they can resolve your issue. If not, your only solution would be to add "Start11 Setup" to the exception list, or disable it while installing Stardock software.
