Hi. I have strong suspiciong that Start11 has a major bug, which cause at times the Taskbar funcitonality to freeze and store and delay the mouse presses. This seems to happen when there is a bit more un-merged windows open (usually >10), typicalle Chrome browser windows, video players etc. For me very often in these instances the Taskbar stops responding completely, but after a while, by latest when I close some whindows, all the pushes play out seamlessly in original pressing order, which causes chaos. This exact thing happens both on my desktop PC and my laptop, both with up to date Windows 11 Pro, both sharing a Start11 install. I asked around forums and it seems I'm the only one this happens to. There is nothing else that comes to my mind worth mentioning in my software setup, except that they have Start11 installed. Just running basic Norton 360 installs, and the dekstop PC has Microsoft Office 2021. Logic says this might relate to the "never" merge Taskbar buttons settings in Start11, which is the classic Windows style I prefer. Other major settings I have selected is the Windows 7 style Start Menu. I just updated today to latest v.1.36 Start11. I can't say if this might just have it fixed.
My desktop runs lates hardware (below) and the laptop is very recent Dell Latitude 7400 series model.
Specs:
Seasonic Prime TX-1000 1000W Titanium
Asus TUF GAMING Z590-Plus WiFi (latest BIOS v. 1601)
Intel Core i9-11900k
4x Kingston HyperX 8GB 3200 MHz DDR4 (2x HX432C16FB3K2/16)
MSI GeForce RTX 3090 Suprim X 24G
Samsung 980 Pro 1 TB
I hope this gets looked at. It might drive me away from using and recommending Stardock software to any one else.
best regards
