How to disable the Taskbar portion of Start 11

How do you disable the taskbar in Start 11. it hides my system tray, I use it to keep an eye on the system temp and CPU usage. Without the ability to open the System tray, completely invalidates Start 11.

I do not want a workaround, just how to disable it, if it cannot be disabled I will stop using the start 11 and will expect a refund, it is really dumb not to be able to disable one part of a program that honestly did not NEED to change the start bar and the system tray.

What version of Windows are you using and what version of Start11?

If you are using the Windows 11 dev/beta insider release please contact Microsoft for technical assistance as their most recent build has broken the show hidden system tray icon feature of their taskbar. This is the case with or without Start11.

There is a known issue on those versions that due to the above issue all the system tray icons do not appear when using the enhanced taskbar feature of Start11 but this can by bypassed by disabling the enhanced taskbar features in Start11 on the taskbar page. This defaults to off however so you would have had to enable it.

Please also be aware that we do not offer any formal support for insider releases of Windows for reasons like this.

Have not tried it without the start menu installed. This the second time that a beta update has caused the system tray to disappear. I am on the newest beta for windows 11. Also, I went into the settings for start 11, disabled the auto update told it to check for newer version and it downloaded and updated to 1.22 as well as identifiying my version of windows as an insider build. Will see if issue is still present after rebooting system

Windows version is 22H2 22610.1 (ni_release)

ok, uninstalled start 11, no change in behavior of system tray, that is to say it does not exist. Have posted a problem report detailing the issue
