Start11 - Can't right click anything

I just did a fresh install of windows and start11 is really buggy all of a sudden. yes - I did a full uninstall and it didn't fix it. But its not letting me right click say, the date and time, and select any options there, or open the volume mixer.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. But, need more information on your system.

  1. Windows full version numbers. Please use Windows "Winver.exe" to get those.
  2. Start11 version?

Please try uninstall, reboot, reinstall latest release version V1.21, reboot again and retest. Report back here or on that 1.2.1 Beta Feedback thread.

Followed the instructions, full uninstalled, reset , installed new version, reset again and still not working correctly  
I noticed when I have the taskbar aligned with the bottom when I hover over one of the options it did at least highlight it. But when clicked nothing happened afterwards.

I then aligned it to the top and that didn't work either, though I noticed when there It did not even highlight the option.

This is a known issue in 1.2 when the enhanced taskbar is enabled on release versions of Windows 11 and will be resolved in 1.22 (when at the bottom, taskbars at the top are their own problem)

I recently had to do a clean install of Windows and I was having this same issue! I saw this thread and read all comments when I got to yours. I turned off enhanced taskbar and voila... SUCCESS!

I have similar issue. No right click on anything in the taskbar so have that shut off for now so I can get normal windows 11 right click.

Running Windows Insider Preview 23506 and latest Start 11.
