My friend and I have been playing Gal Civ 3 for ~ 300h now. We have the steam versions with all official DLCs and no MODs. There are days when we get 1-2 disconnects, but there are days when the game disconnects every second turn. Today for instance, we had a lot of free time, played the game for about 5 hours with disconnects every second turn.

We both live in the same big city with high-speed, stable internet connections and have no disconnects in other games. This also happens regardless of the computers we use - my PC is the host (but we tried changing that a few times, it didn't change anything), whereas he plays either on a laptop or a desktop. Our specs are as follows:

Desktop 1 - Win 10, AMD FX 8350 8 core 4.0Ghz, 16GB RAM, GF1060 6GB

Desktop 2 - Win 10, Intel i5 4 core, 16GB RAM, GF 1060 6GB

Laptop - i7, 8GB Ram GTX 950m 4GB

The settings do not seem to affect the game in any visible way, we played all kinds of map sizes and options. This is totally random, yesterday we had no disconnects whatsoever playing the same map we're playing today.

Any tips on how to solve these issues would be greatly appreciated. If there is any other information we should provide, please let us know.
