Hi I am trying to figure out how to change the color of the preview area of the explorer. I am using oldnewexplorer to bring back the preview area at the bottom of the explorer window.
I don't have oldnewexplorer installed so I'm guessing a little bit - Try the image defined in Explorer and IE / Explorer windows / Explorer Info pane / Background / [Image]tab.
Are you talking about area #1 or #2?
I think he's referring to the "Explorer Info" image Tom, number 2.
Yeah, but he also said "color of the preview area of the explorer." number 1 is the preview area, so thought I'd ask.
This is why I thought he was referring to the "Explorer Info" image, could be wrong, wouldn't be the firs time.
Lol! I meant the Explorer info which because off oldnewexplorer is in the same place as it is in win 7 at the bottom. So it should be the same. I was able to figure out how to put an image there but couldn't see how to choose a color instead of an image. oh it's #2.
Glad you got it figured out, and yes it has to be an image. You can also change the text color in the Extra Settings area of that image.
Thanks a lot guys!
