I'm fairly impressed by DeskScapes, it's better than I expected and I particularly like the range of video effects available. Does anyone know where the effects come from? Is there an open source video editor that has all these effects?

The Effects Option is built into the DeskScapes program and is Fixed.
No open source video editor .
