I've set-up Start10 in the Win7 style.
When I use 'pin to start menu (start10)', the program is displayed in a list at the top.
However, there is a separator line just below this list, and I can't work out what it is for.
At first I thought I could move things between the upper and lower sections, like having favourites at the top. But nope.
Then I thought, if I used the 'pin to start' option, the program might be added to this lower section (as well as a tile in the default Win10 menu). But nope. It's only added as a tile.
So does anyone know why the start menu is split into two sections, and if the lower section can be used for anything?
