btw, I had a similar issue (desktop computer, non-touch screen), but solution was just the apposite from above. I often use Display Settings (Win10) to disconnect and then later extend desktop (re-connect) monitors due to performance issue (live stream issues). And when I do this recently (maybe an update of Fences did this) but Desktop Pages was Enabled (I don't use this feature, but now it's Enabled). And what was happening is that when I disconnected a monitor, my Fences on that page would go to a different virtual Fences desktop (Alt Left/Right). And again, I don't use this feature and don't want to. Key Clue: When I went into Fences Settings (Color & Appreance) I could see (pull-down) that all Fences were still "somewhere". But when I disabled Desktop Pages, they all appeared again. Easy fix...
