Hi, new update on this behaviour:

a) taskbar vertical, clock cropped

set taskbar horizontal, clock fine

c) move taskbar vertical again, now the clock is fine!

Something is missing then on WindowsBlind code.... some metric is not being calculated when applying skin on a vertical taskbar, that it is calculated when moving taskbar from horizontal to vertical!

Also, please see on the vertical image, that the "over" effect for the "display desktop" button is misplaced... this is congruent with my theory

After reboot, same problem.

In fact, if I do a 3 step reposition (Down, left, right) it gets wrong the second time i move it vertical (from left ok - right wrong), or vice versa (from right ok, to left wrong)

I have a theory that this is actually caused by a bug in Windows 10 — specifically in inconsistent or improper scaling for hi resolution monitors.  My monitor is 4K and I have noticed weird scaling around the task tray.  When I click the OneDrive icon in the task tray, the pop up context menu is HUGE.  I can’t figure out why.  Other apps in the task tray have normal size context menus.  But to me, it still indicates that this could be a scaling problem.  Do other people with this issue have hi-rez displays?

I have been here a long time and made a lot of Windowblinds and still do. Win 7 and 10. I have just moved the taskbar Left, Right top, Bottom, several times and applied each time. I have no problem what so eve and never had.

What else is I haven't updated to 1803 yet so maybe that is doing it. There is a revised Windowblinds coming out in the near future I believe. I would at this point wait and see if the corrects your situation. 

basi sad he submitted your situation to support and sure they are or have looked into it. basi and support are on top of things as the new Window update has messed with a few other things.

After several testings, please do this to replicate the problem:

a) Put the taskbar on the left

expand the system tray icons. This will cause WB to trigger a repaint event that will produce the error on the clock.

What was the end of the story?

Well, still not seeing what you're seeing. I just notice your "Screen10.exe" is a few months older than mine. Maybe you can try the purge and reinstall steps and see if that help you. https://forums.stardock.com/486023/windowblinds-support-faq#reinstalling
