I just seem to be going around in circles with this. 

I think I have clicked all the buttons, and maybe this can't be done.

And, I don't know how to ask in the search.

I don't like the white background in my Start Menu.

In my case, the part with 5 rows.

Any thoughts on how to make this dark?

Also, I was wondering if I could suppress the text?  Just show the Icon?

I don't know how to insert a small picture into this post of what I am talking about.

I am using the Windows7 style.  Task bar and main start menu on the right and dark background.

The part that has all my programs, etc, has a white background.

Any thoughts ...
