The proper response to this post is probably "what the?" but I will behave myself.
Start game, click Multiplayer.
If hosting, pick map, decide on options, click Create.
If not hosting, click Join Game, type in address of host, click Connect.
I'd say I worry for the species if we're getting too dumb to use the internet, but I wrote us off already so it's all good.
