At this time WindowBlinds 8 is not compatible with Windows 10. We are currently reviewing it for Windows 10 but do not have an ETA for any possible update.

If you are experiencing issues, please contact support for assistance:

I was surprised as well, that I have to buy again the Software. But anyway, just tell me, if Window Blinds 8 will be compatible with Windows 10 or not, because if not and Stardock plan to release the Window Blinds 9 to do that, than I have to wait...

As stated by Stardock Developers. When it's ready.  This has not been too long.  When WB8 was released it was 4-6 months after Windows 8 came out.  So relax and wait.

I expect the beta may well appear in the next two weeks assuming nothing really bad happens

Something really bad has already happened. Microsoft called it Windows Ten.

I'm now forced to stay on Windows 8 until they release WB.  Well, not forced however I am paying for a package from Stardock MAINLY for WB.  Microsoft has been pinging me with the "Upgrades are available for a limited time".  I'm probably going to be canceling since Stardock doesn't seem to have any idea about how to do this conversion.  And apparently don't mind letting their customers suffer and wait.  Not informing your customers about what's going on is not really a good solution.  As a software engineer myself I feel it is VERY important to keep your PAYING customers informed so they stay loyal.  Otherwise they may switch to an alternative.  Gosh I wonder if there might be an alternative out there to WB.  Maybe I'll check....

You are aware MS Windows 10 upgrade is available until July 2016?  That is a limited time, but not as limited as they want you to think.

As is posted elsewhere in this thread, we expect the beta of WB10 to make it out in the next few weeks.  The bulk of the rest of the ObjectDesktop package is Windows 10 supporting, but WB has taken longer as it is a much more complicated product and unfortunately other updates have taken time away from it.

While I am really looking forward to this as well, this seems like a very long topic for a product that hasn't even been released yet. The email notifications are driving me a bit crazy. It will be ready when it's ready.

The 2014 insider preview was of no use what so ever for this purpose.

WB10 is coming and it will be released when ready.  It is nice that people are so keen to see it, but I am afraid sometimes things take longer than planned.

The insider release of Window's 10 from 2014 is a different build then what was released in August of this year.  The way Windows Blinds integrates into the Windows Shell is pretty intricate.  They could not build on this till the RTM was released to the public in August of this year.

Refer to my previous analogy in Post 59 of this thread as to why they had to wait for the Gold RTM to build on.
