Hello all,
I've run into an issue with multiplayer. Namely that
A: I can't see anyone's games (even friends sharing the same internet router in the same room).
B: there's "NOTHING" online about the multiplayer troubleshooting or anything of the sort.
C: There are NO options in-game for the multiplayer. It's like Stardock just skipped that entire area. I mean I could easily fix this if I even knew how it worked. If there were options for direct IP, or if they listed a master server I could check my connection to, or if there was an option for LAN then I'd be fine, I'm a savy computer nerd. It frustrates me to no end that there's literally nothing you can change in game on the multiplayer front.
So, any one have any reccomended fixes for this?
My friend can see games, I can't.
I have NO firewalls on, I can ping my friend's computer, yes the internet works, no it's not a port issue, yes we have the same game version, no I can't see any games online at all or anyone in the lobby, I've eliminated all those usual problems.
This would be a really easy fix if the steam invite-to-game worked like it does in Civ V, but like I said... it seems that stardock just slapped "multiplayer" on their title and cut a lot of corners afterwards.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
