Scoring system really needs work

This is NOT a big deal and i totally understand the dev's have much bigger fish to fry. Just wanted to see if this could make the list.

Probably totally working as designed so not a bug, but come on. medium map 5 AI players, i was yor, difficulty =max-1; conquest victory, SCORE 18???

I am sure better players could have done it quicker but i was pretty fast. 

 

I know this next comment will not win me any friends this the top place holders [e digicons]:'([/e] but most of the high scores are pre release, who knows how many times the formula has changed; so how about we reset the listings to post release.

I agree it needs to be looked at ... one of the higher scores on the Metaverse was achieved when the player accidentally set himself up with a game with no AI opponents, so he won on turn 1.  If I recall correctly, in GC 2 there was a penalty for winning before a certain number of turns.

I've scored over 100 points with my games and been wiped off the scoreboard due to ver 1.0 being released I've been too busy to get myself back on the table yet.I scored 16 points for completing the tutorial in under 200 turns.And if true Publius his game score should be wiped as it was caused by a bug or exploit.Paul did say frogboy was working on the scoring system?

I also won the tutorial in just a bit over 100 turns and got a score less than 20.  As for the current Metaverse scores, I don't know what to expect.  In GC2 they reset all Metaverse scores about a week after release, wiping out all scores that were registered at the end of the beta plus some that were earned on the released game.

If Paul and/or Frogboy are looking at the scoring system I'd say that's good news.
