Hello all

this is Ali. I am using cursor fx 2.15 with windows 8.1.

recently i faced a strange problem that when ever I applied any cursor, my office and some window functions does not work. for example in office it does not show the options to change the fonts and sizes etc. it shows roll down window but suddenly goes invisible. and same with windows it does not show calender from desktop date and time icon and do not show window when i right click on Firefox.

it all happens when ever I apply any cursor from cursor fx. I spent 1 month to figure out this problem because first I thought its the problem with my windows or office so i uninstalled and installed it again so many times then did one experiment per day now I figure out this is my beloved cursor fx which does not let me work on my own pc lol

help me how to fix this issue

Thanks

Ali

I had the same issue just working in Word & managed to solve it by turning off the custom cursor.

The issue exists also for Excel and I'd imagine the other Office programs.

I am using Office 365

Read the pinned post "cursor fx 2.15 now available". There is an issue with 2.15 that needs to be corrected. We need some assurance that Stardock is working on this issue.

Quoting andrst,

We need some assurance that Stardock is working on this issue.

You can rest assured that Stardock has noted it and is working on fixing it. Until then, roll back to the previous version.  Yet another reason to archive your installers for at least two versions, previous and current.

(Come on guys hard drive space is dirt cheap, lack of aggravation is priceless)

It's a known issue and has been reported as Wiz stated.

Thanks Wiz!
