crash with immense galaxy settings

hi,

just tried immense galaxy setting for new game. game chrashed with error "not enought ram". tried it 8 times with 3 restarts and shutting down all other things but it wont work. got this problem only with immense galaxy, the others are working...

system: i7 3ghz, 8GB ram, 250 ssd hdd, ati 2gb grafic, win7 64bit

need to find that dump file -.-...do i need 16 gb ram or even 32 gb ram to run it in the biggest galaxy setting?

that seems odd i only have 4gigs ram and while i am crashing im not getting an error msg

Andro do you only show 4 gigs but you installed 8?

nope only have 4 gigs 2x2g sticks ive been meaning to upgrade for a while but my upgrade savinngs are going to renovations atm

although i have 3g on my video card so that may be helping

I also get an error on this map, the rest works well. I get an error with KERNELBASE.dll ....

40 minutes during the game I got like 10 errors. out of memory ... (8gb ram)

Hmmm, I Haven't been able to spend much time with the new beta yet (working all day and still am) but did get about 30 min. during lunch. Of course I tried the immense map right away and got to turn 37 before I needed to stop and go back to work. No problems at all yet. Though I do have 16GB of memory so I'm not worried about any memory issues. So far, I'm really liking what I see though.

I am also crashing when creating immense sized maps. I created a ticket on stardock support and uploaded my support tool zip file.

I do not crash on immense maps unless I attempt to reveal fow.

I've also experienced a crash on immense, but not until turn 132. I can't usually load the autosaves without it crashing, and I can only play a turn or two (or sometimes none) before it crashes again. Uploading crash report and support tool .zip file via support ticket...

probably need a little work on the optimization, this game requires incredible resource RAM memory

BTW: increasing the virtual memory 4 gb solved the problem with the "out of memory"
