it seems that the autosaves i had happened after i turned on turnactions so i cant go back to before i finished the research tree but heres a chunk of the debugg file that seems related in particular the bottom where i end turn 416 about a dozen times

im not quite sure what it means by tried to enter unprintable character but if i understand this that is when i turned "turnactions" off so it would notify me of idle ships and such
