Just Purchased Launch8, Not Able To Start It

Starting Launch 8 Causes Start8 Screen To Popup Then Launch8 Starts And Disappears

Hello All,

I have a Windows 8.1 machine and I am running Start8. I just purchased/downloaded/installed Launch8 but it's not starting. Well, actually it starts then goes away after like 1/2 a second.

When I click the icon to start Launch8 here is what happens.

Click to start Launch8
My Start8 start menu opens up
Launch8 starts up on top of the start menu (at the bottom) then in like 1/2 a second disappears
The start menu stays open but I don't see Launch8 anywhere

Is there a compatability issue with Launch8 and Start8? Do I have to maybe restart my computer or configure anything else to get Launch8 to work?

Launch8 is designed to only show on fullscreen start menus.

If you set start8 to go fullscreen but keep the taskbar visible it should be ok.

Awww.. I like to use the start menu in the "Large" mode.

I am kinda bummed because I didn't realize Launch8 only worked on the Windows 8 start menu. I just thought it was the latest version of Object Dock.

I submitted a request to Stardock to ask them if they would refund my purchases and apply the $4.99 credit to Object Dock. Hopefully they will let me!
