I know that I can set Start8 to return to the Desktop after a modern UI application is started from the Desktop and then closed. That is a good thing. However, when I purposely switch to the Windows 8 menu and I run and close a modern UI application, I would like to stay in the Windows 8 menu mode. Perhaps another or modified setting could be provided such as:

The two settings would be mutually exclusive

Add

    When in desktop, return to desktop, and when in Windows 8 menu, stay in Windows 8 menu after closing a modern UI application

Retain the current setting

    Switch to desktop after closing a modern UI application
