What started out as a good application has gotten even better with updates; the level of high quality form that follows function and polish applied to ModernMix™ shouldn't surprise as it was I believe Stardock that originally designed the Windows Compositer that led to theming and Aero in Windows NT 5.1, 5.2, 6.0, 6.1... While Microsoft appears to have applied considerable code to the work in this latest incarnation of a Desktop Compositer; Stardock's latest success is another testament to Agile Development solving real problems and giving people what they want. Now if Stardock could just give the Modern UI some of the power and features of a real TWM we might actually see Microsoft's aspirations for Windows 8 made real, more appealing (and vastly more useful) to the masses -- as well something a real state-of-the-art 'desktop experience' rather then a capitulation to the lowest and slowest. With that Stardock would add another powerful application to it's stable that delivers real form that follows function, the power and benefits only TWMs have on offer, and the TWM would finally realized in the mass market rather then just the vertical Mil, Aerospace, and high-end computing markets...
