Hi I have a problem with my computer, when I select shutdown, the system seems to want to shut down, the screen displays the logo of win and the monitor turns off but the computer does not. However if I select the option to sleep if it acts properly.
Before you do this, the computer restarted instead of shutting down, which solved a little unchecking the "Automatically restart" is in Control Panel-System-Advanced-Starup and Recovery-Settings
My motherboard is a Gigabyte P35 DS3L and The CPU is a Q6600.

Thanks!!

It sounds like you have a driver related issue and the OS is crashing on shutdown.  The event log should show what was going on.

My Device Manager shows the HD Westrern Digital My Book Live ( a hard disk in LAN) is with a mark yellow.

Perhaps when the driver from WD releases...

Thanks!!
