Yes, when the whispers of champions roaming the countryside were just starting to form, during the early days of WOM, or lets just say "the early days" I had dreams of a "Sim Medieval" approach to citizens/NPCs.
IIRC this was before "Sims Medieval" came out, so please don't mistake the two ... I haven't played The Sims in a long time, and The Sims doesn't seem to have any sort of integration ... basically nothing any sim does matters a whole lot to other sims (at least as far as I saw).
Instead, my vision was something like a Sim city, with "sims" living in them ... but a bit less on the simulation part, and a bit more on the "Getting a job, signing up for the military, etc" like you sort of see in Majesty.
----------------------
This being said, that type of world is for a different game.
SOME games do have titles, but they are nothing more than unlock-able bonuses ... as sort of an extra perk (see Suikoden series
)
I do not think that Elemental:FE, as a 4X game, should really have "extra perks" such as random unlockable titles.
I mean, how would you unlock them? And if they are all already unlocked, who is to say that you can't just give all your champions the 'General' title, with Sov as the Field Marshall?
Well, I see some posibility, but I think titles would have to be unlocked as your population and economy increases, and titles would have to be available in a 'Pyramid scheme' type of design.
------------------------------
As far as Military Titles go ...
Sovereign (the sovereign).
Multiple titles the Sovereign can pick are -> The Iron Fist(unrest), Benevolent Father(economic/diplomatic), Master Sorcerer(magic), Fist of the People(military),and The Emperor/The King(prestige/gold).
Then there is "Field Marshal" -> Can pick between First Spear(military), Shadow lord(assassins), Marshal(morale/prestige), and Archbishop(magic)
Then you could also have the administrative positions of Steward(gold), Librarian(research), and Ambassador(diplomacy)
--> Honestly though, if anyone decides to go forward with this ... I think the key advice would be "Be wary"
(likely not something to find in any version of Fallen Enchantress, but might be something explorable with mods)
