For example the butcherman quest. The final quest location you have to kill stuff. Either of the following solutions I think would work well:
- Treat the final quest location as an enemy unit, therefore the prebattle screen would show up if you choose the fight option in the quest. This would allow you to NOT fight the battle then, and come back when you have a bigger army. The quest location should remain.
- Allow you to walk onto the tile like it is currently, but if you choose the fight option, the pre battle window appears and you can still choose not to fight.
- On the strategic map, on mouse-over of the final quest location which contains monsters, a list of enemies showing helath, attack and defense.
