Would anyone be interested in doing some roleplay on Sins? Also, in the long term, would anyone be willingly to form a roleplaying "clan" for this purpose? Your responses will be much appreciated.
Well, just so that people will begin to prep themselves for this project, I have come up with a list of required people to start this thing:
(2) Roleplaying Administrators
-Used to keep the ball rolling, and to try to keep this as organized as possible.
(3) Faction Leaders
-Responsible for managing their own faction.
(9-X) Faction Members
-Seeing as the Sins Population isn't doing so well, the number of faction members that are required for this to occur will be set at the arbitrary number of Nine. And, obviously, they are simply members of each faction.
-Those who are skilled at using the GalaxyForge.
-Those who keep tabs on all of the events that occur throughout this roleplay, and attempt to record it as accurately as possible.
Note: I would like to acknowledge binjured for his previous work, as it has given me some sorta of a base for this, and it also gave me a list of roles that seem necessary.
Anyways, for the moment, I am looking for some people to come up with three factions for this roleplay. The only requirement for a faction to be considered part of the canon is the starting membership of atleast two people. Also, these factions can be of any race(TEC, Vasari, or Advent.). I do hope this project can go forward, and I wish you all good luck on starting the creative process.
-We are currently set in the time of Entrenchment. But, we might still use the Diplomacy for the actual in game features.
-We will not be bringing in any stories related to the Vasari Hunters.
Notes: I will begin to work on an OOC Map for this Roleplay, but I am still trying to consult with some others on this topic.
General Operation Notes:
This is sorta the rough summary of what will go on:
Once we get the full amount of players, I am going to open the floor for "Actions". Such an action would be an invasion of another Solar System, as a means of taking enemy territory. This action would be publicly posted, and given a certain amount of time to be reacted to. If, per say, a faction launches an invasion force, the defending faction can decide to send a fleet(One Player Admiral w/ any Lower Ranking Officers) to defend the territory. The battle would be played out in the game itself(Having been arranged, to the best of our ability, to fit both faction's time restrictions), and the winner would then claim that territory. This would be reflected in the Global Map. Afterwards, players may decide to post AARs, or Roleplays that occurred during the battle, or even roleplays that are occurring because of the battle. And, just for the sake of this example, lets just say that the faction that lost the battle wants a truce. Then, the Faction Leader would post a Comms RP in the forum thread, to which the other Faction Leader can respond to.
So, in short, the gameplay will vary from in-thread talks, to Global Events, and in-game Battles.
